As an Alan Barry Technical Recruiter, you will learn specialized sourcing techniques to assist our clients who are looking for candidates to work in a variety of engineering and IT-related fields. You will identify and contact these technical professionals about new job opportunities where they can utilize their expertise in these technical fiends. On a day-to-day basis, you would be tasked with sourcing qualified candidates for our valued clients by using state-of-the-art web-based technologies, mobile hardware, and an automated system that does its best to remove mundane tasks from a recruiters duties as we work towards a paperless system. You will have access to up-to-date approach allowing for more flexibility in conducting and completing your search assignments.
As an Alan Barry Technical Recruiter, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing tasks and duties, so no two days will ever be the same! Self-motivated individuals are required to work in this role, so a high-energy individual is a must.

Our Recruiter Support Professionals will be tasked with supporting our Account Managers and Recruiters in the management of their day-to-day duties will include the coordination and data entry for our web-based (very little paper!) CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Software, Candidate and Client Documentation Management, and assisting with scheduling for Alan Barry Recruiters and Account Managers. Recruiter support will work closely with Alan Barry Team Members to understand our strategic approach to maintaining strong relationships.
Alan Barry Consultants Recruiter Support role will assist in creating and posting job descriptions, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews and appointments, screening candidates for Technical Roles, and preparing the necessary web-based data so Alan Barry Consultants will run smoothly on a daily basis.

What is a SME?
Alan Barry Consultants has instituted a Subject Matter Expert (SME) program to assist our recruitment team in the challenging process of qualifying candidates with a diverse and sometimes highly technical skill set. ABC believes that a recruiter’s primary duty of sourcing and uncovering the best talent for our client’s needs is a daunting task just by itself. In the past, many staffing firms have relied on references and key-word matches to finalize their qualification process, while ABC also believes these steps to be integral to the sourcing and candidate qualification cycle we believe it is not enough. Our SME program engages experienced professionals with a proves track record in their arena of expertise. Our SME’s will often assist ABC Account Managers to scope new Job Order’s in an effort to fully understand our clients, it helps to have that robust knowledge and understanding to ask the RIGHT questions during the Job Scoping Process. Additionally, a SME may be called on to personally interview candidates, review resumes and advise the ABC recruitment team of industry associations and networking events that could lead to new and before unknown candidates that could be a great fit for our clients.
